TACROLIMUS LEVEL

The test is used to monitor whole blood tacrolimus concentration during the therapy. This test is important, especially for people who are being co-administered CYP3A4 substrates, inhibitors or inducers. It can also be used to evaluate patient compliance and therefore adjust the dose in order to minimize toxicity.

How to prepare for the test?

Ideal Sampling Time: Just before the next dose (Trough levels). Provide date and time of sampling, amount & time of dose.
